when i ask people about their spiritual beliefs, they often tell me that they "believe in a higher power" but are "unsure of what it could be." increasingly, young people are rejecting major religions or practicing them loosely, after all we are at a time in which information and knowledge is more accessible than it has evre been and you will certainly NOT be burnt at the stake for going "welll maybe this god guy isn't the way to go." many religious people like to call this some western hippy dippy spiritual stuff, as though most of this thought was derived from ancient civilisations globally but only popularised by western philosophy.
because there is a belief so incredible, so unique yet its traces lie in abrahamic religion AND atheism simultaneously. and yet!!! no one knows what it is!!!! there are only 2000 in the uk!!???! the word "pantheism" is one most people are unfamiliar with and yet so many people describe it as the word to fit their beliefs they've had all along.
this scripture is in NO way trying to convince you to be pantheist, but i would reccomend considering it if major religions are just not cutting it for you. because in pantheism, your body, the earth is your temple. laughing, breathing is prayer. nobody seeks to condemn you. you need not feel shame. just pure. bliss. heaven is here.
in no way am i a good thinker. in no way am i intellegent, or speaking from a point of high education. none of what i say is a revelation to the world or the product of years of study and understanding. unlike many people who get to live their lives without considering religion, i do not get such a priveledge. external pressure, as well as the places my mind forces me to go, force me to think and think and think and formulate these ideas. i hope you can read, with an open mind, and perhaps, understand.
note: i am not on any medication or psychedellics. NOR have i ever been.
